Relaxed Life Drawing for Everyone

A welcoming, untutored space to draw, observe, and enjoy the process—no experience needed.

How does it work?

Open to All

Our sessions are designed for everyone, whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or returning to drawing after a break. It’s a relaxed, friendly environment where you can work at your own pace, with optional light-touch guidance from session leaders if you want it.

Varied Sessions

Each session lasts around two hours and features a range of poses to keep things engaging. You’ll move from quick 2-minute sketches through to 10-minute studies, building up to longer 45-minute poses where you can really focus and develop your work. We work with a professional nude life model to support accurate observation and skill-building.

Simple, Social Setup

We keep things easy and welcoming—hot drinks and biscuits are provided to create a sociable atmosphere. Just bring your own materials, whether that’s sketchbooks, paper, boards, pencils, or anything else you like to use.

Please note: Sessions are for ages 18+ only.

No Profit & No Pressure

These sessions run on a simple not-for-profit basis, with fees covering only the cost of the room and model. It’s all about making time to draw, improving your eye, and enjoying the process without pressure.

Materials & Equipment: We are building this class from scratch and re-investing any profit to build up our materials and equipment.
What we have on offer;
- Easels - We have a limited number of Easels so its first come first served.
- Tables & Chairs - We have plenty.
- Drawing Boards - A2 boards provided and Clips too.
- Paper- We provide newsprint for you to use for the quicker sessions. Please bring your own paper or sketchbooks if you want higher quality.
- Materials - We will provide stick charcoal for the you to use.
- Please bring any pencils, Pastels etc you want to use.

Atmosphere: Relaxed, social, no pressure
Refreshments: Hot drinks and biscuits provided
Age requirement: 18+ only
